This SIR is essentially a quick slide facility. It puts a 103-element periodic table on the screen, which can be overlaid with various colour-keyed displays at the touch of a mouse button.

The main options are shown in the figure, which also shows the conventional layout of the table. You get an option by clicking the mouse on it.
When appropriate properties are shown, the element squares on the table are colour-keyed in the universal acid-base indicator sequence from red for the most acidic, anionic and electronegative elements through the rainbow to purple for the most basic, cationic and electropositive ones.
The "Classifications" option provides a submenu. You may click to show various subsets of elements in a highlight colour on a monochrome periodic table. Categories available include the main group elements, transition elements, lanthanides, actinides, metals, nonmetals, semimetals, alkali metals, alkaline earths, chalcogens, halogens, noble gases, gases and liquids.
In the "Valence Electrons" display, you may click on an element and its ground-state electron configuration will be shown. The "Oxides Chemistry" display classifies oxides as soluble basic, insoluble basic, amphoteric, insoluble or neutral, insoluble basic, and soluble basic.
